Expensive Swedish Chocolate.
Today, in German class, we were handed these slips of paper with questions on them about the Pennsylvania Dutch. I answered most of them pretty easily. We all put them in the bucket and the teacher shook it all up. One, i had to guess. It was the percentage of people in PA with German heritage. There also was one that a kid knew and he shared with the class. Turns out that the Pennsylvania Dutch aren't Dutch. Go figure! They are actually from Germany. When they settled here, they said, "We Come From DeutschLand". (Germany). The Americans thought DeutschLand meant DutchLand, therefore they named them the Dutch. Yeah. So at the end of the day, my homeroom teacher, who happens to be the German teacher, asked me to draw the slips. I drew a billion before a picked a perfect one. It wasn't me. But then, another kid came over and asked if he could draw names with me. So, the first one he picked was mine. And it was perfect. The German teacher reached into her stash of random German-related stuff in the cabinet, and gave me this triangular chocolate bar in this cardboard gold box. Apparently, it's Swiss Chocolate with honey and almond nougat. Pretty good stuff. I shared some with my familie, and had a piece myself. The bar looked like a first-grader's depiction of grass. They were little flat pyramid-shaped pieces all stuck together. It kindof hurt my teeth, though, or at least, the almond nougat did. I also drank out of a two-liter bottle of Pepsi and played my guitar.
