Blogs For Algernon.
Well, recently in Language Arts class, we read the book, "Flowers For Algernon". It was an alright book, i guess. I just wanted to note that i feel like Charlie, giving progress reports to the doctors after his operation. It's probably because they give a date to the blogs the same way Charlie did in the book to these progress reports. But i guess, in a way, i'm giving people insight on how i am developing mentally. Haha. Anyways, on with your lives.
Monsoon Blog.
So i'm listening to an album by Dear And The Headlights. My brother really likes that band, and lent me a CD of their album, "Small Steps, Heavy Hooves". They're alright. This morning, i did not go to school. I didn't know why until i woke up and asked my mom. She had woken me up when it was time to go to school, but i very faintly remember it. I just remember her asking me if i wanted to go, and in my drowzy daze I, of course, said no. Reason being, my mother heard me and my brother talking at around 2:30 AM last night, and thought i didn't get enough sleep. Plus, there was a monsoon going on outside. My mother claims to have seen branches flying past the windows. Either way, i get out of school. My brother liked that i got him the CD. He's now caught in a trance, staring at the TV. He'll listen to it later, i'm sure. I'm not sure why i made this blog. It's most likely because i was absent from school today. I hope no one missed me too much! HA! I'm always afraid of missing something important on absent days. So, i finished my Language Arts book report last night for nothing, if you think about it. And you'll think about it. Trust me, you will.

I Am The King Of Prussia.
Went to the KOP mall today with Saira. So this weekend has been Saira-filled. I got my brother this CD he's been asking for since it came out. Not sure why he was bent on having me buy it for him. It's a pretty good album, so i put it on my iTunes too. He hasn't come home yet, though. Hopefully he hasn't bought it for himself. I went to this candy shop and me and Saira both got sugar-coated treats. We saw two prep girls from our school, and one went "HEY!" and i ran like weirdo away from them. Saira just walked behind, head low, embarrassed. Hey, that's me. We also went in Hollister for the fun of it, because we both hate the place. I ran into a terribly placed fern in the store on purpose. She didn't buy anything for herself, at the fear that she would 'bore' me. I have a mix CD for her, but i forgot to give it to her today. I've given her many mix CDs before with her favorite band's songs on them(ones she hadn't gotten) for her birthday. Her favorite band is Say Anything, which was also my brother's favorite band. I never liked them until the beginning of this year, and i found my brother's stash of their albums, and i listened and liked them. As usual, i was suggesting these songs to people, Saira being one of those people. She loved it, and ended up being obsessed with them. We had Five Guys for dinner. They have good food. We went around in circles the whole time through the mall, and didn't do a whole lot, but it was pretty fun. Now i need to write a book review. Well, not now.

The Lovely Blogs.
I saw The Lovely Bones with Saira today. I love those sort of movies, the really dark, erie ones that take place in normal worlds. It was very cheesey at some moments, but some scenes were very dark, thrilling, and cool. I like movies that have dramatic, heart-breaking deaths. They don't break my heart, i just enjoi when that happens in movies. Saira just likes people being torn to bits. I like more dramatic, creepy deaths, where they just make it depressing and don't show the kill, only they aftermath and what leads to it. That's me, though. It touches my heart to hear about those dark stories. Haha. Anyways, it was cool. I recommend you see it, if you don't mind depressing stories..It takes place in the '70s, and they REALLY make it look like that era. I wasn't even alive then, and it still reminds me of the '70s. Just a really cool theme to it. The heaven scenes were sortof weird. It was shot in Royersford, too, and i've been to places they showed. Really odd. Overall, very bizarre-feeling, yet very very interesting movie. I recommend it.

Time To Blog.
As if anyone cares..I have been gone for quite a while. I haven't written much. But a lot has happened. I have recently got associated with the band, The Dodos. I have all of their albums, and they make great music. I have come to acquire a new best friend, Saira Adams. She shares the same middle name as my mother, which is also the first name of my sister, Beth. I have been to her house a couple times, and she's been over mine a couple times. We're even hanging out this weekend. If my enterprising ideas develop into actual plans, we will be going to the movies tomorrow, and the mall on Sunday. We are supposedly going to see The Lovely Bones. It looks like a terrifying movie, but totally awesome. I'm drinking Mountain Dew "Throwback", and i still can't taste the difference. But, i'm not even quite sure if there is supposed to be a difference. My mom got this high-maintenence-looking sun lamp that is supposed to have the same effects of sunlight on your body. Meaning, in the winter when you never go outside, you can sit under this blasted thing for two hours every day and get all the sunlight you need. This is said to cure depression in the cold season, so my mother and I turned it straight on and huddled under it like a bunch of gremlins. For the rest of the night, i was flashing it in family member's faces and saying, "BE HAPPY!". I got a slew of iTunes gift cards during my birthday and Christmas season, and bought a ton of new music to enjoi. It's great. And i'm 99.98% done all of the Christmas break projects and other things for this marking period in school. That is also great. My brother will come over Sunday night, and i always look forward to that. He's positively my best friend. We like a TV show called The Mighty Boosh. It's a BBC comedy, and a very weird one at that. We finally had a white Christmas this time around. It was great. Me and Colton were tackling, sledding down, jumping over, and sitting on big parking lot mountains of snow. I also got a drum set. Me and my brother chipped in and bought it off my cousin. My brother is obsessed with it. I also now have an acoustic guitar to play, courtesy of my brother's holiday spirit. Among other Christmas presents. Oh, sigh. Sigh, sigh, sigh. Thanks to Kim Rose Nihart, i have become entirely obsessed with potato skins. My mom now has to buy them nearly every day. Here's a nice Dodos quote, "To have the chance to be so kind....to someone else who doesn't mind.....is getting rare, and often times..... it seems to scare the wandering eye." - from the "Troll Nacht" song.
