The 44oz. Big Blog.

To the left of my words, you'll see a beautiful picture of my finally-blooming Magnolia tree. It was beautiful on Thursday. Today was not the case. It was freezing cold, and rainy. And i crashed on my bike. So i guess this picture doesn't set the mood extremely well, does it? Anyways, so i crashed my bike. I decided it would be okay if i went to Tim's house where Nick was, on my bike. Little did i know it was freezing, and wet as anything outside. I flow down the hill, and up another, and once i stopped at the bottom of another, i did my super power slide i like to do. Remember, i was going really fast. This time, the road being slippery and rainy, my back tire turned a bit too far, and soon the bike was sideways, and i was flying. Well, the bike slammed down on the road, and with my momentum, i tripped over it, flew over to the grass buffer on the curb, skipped along the grass with my hands+feet instinctive combo(i couldn't stop), and took a finally thud on this house's sidewalk. Luckily, the skipping on my hands helped, but my left shoulder got pretty banged up from the final thud, and i was a bit dizzy. Hopefully i didn't hrut ym brian. Then i had a nice time walking to some stores with Nick and Tim, messing with some silly string, talking to Tim's slightly interesting younger brother Mark, watching funny videos, and finally, being damp as a Englishman, rode my way back home, in the warmer, drier evening. Slightly warmer. Slightly more dry. The first day of spring break has been nice. (with projects looming in the distance)..
Once i was home for quite a while, uncle Brian, knowing i'm always up for a random Wawa trip, stopped by. I went with, of course. You see, my Uncle Brian fills up this old 44oz., really convenient plastic drink container with...well, i don't know what he drinks. Iced Tea, probably. He often tries to throw his old ice outside the Wawa at me or Nick, depending if we are alert of the ice-throw or not. He likes to surprise us. He missed me this time, i had some good reflexes, but once ice cube hit me in the pinky. For some reason, that really hurt. So anyways, i'd like to talk about a movie. I've been super obsessed with This Is England '86, a continuation of the movie This Is England, three years before, that is my favorite movie right now. It has four episodes, it's much different than the movie, and is centered on a different character, but still follows other's stories. The acting is brilliantly amazingly perfect, the directing tense and effective. The writing and the plots mindblowingly moving, real, bold. However, i have other things to write about. I'll do a seperate blog for This Is England. But the show, i finally found and watched 3.5 of them. I am saving the second half of the season finale for later, to build the tension. Unfortunately, i read the Wikipedia summaries, presuming i wouldn't ever see it. So i know what happens, but i pretend i don't. And i don't know everything. But anyways, there's other things to talk about. Well, not really. Oh, i'm seeing Wild Beasts on July 12th! My brother will be home from Italy(study abroad program), and it's only $36 for two tickets! So, that'll be fun. Unfortunately, it's on my mom's birthday, but she'll be glad to be alone, or with my pappy. Then i will have seen 3/4 of my favorite bands, the Dodos being the unseen ones. And Wolf Parade. They would be intense. Crazy techno rock. I want to see Arcade Fire again. Nick's seen stupid Rush twice. I took some beautiful pictures of myself to use for Blogger and Facebook. I am really running out of stuff to say. Oh well. Oh, i like collecting coins. Used to be for collecting reasons, now for money reasons. It's fun to add to your coin savings, but when you cash it, you spend the money pretty quickly. So i try and just collect as much as i can. Here are some complimentary pictures to send myself off. Uncle Brian with his mug, and some 26 cents i found on just one shelf in my laundry room.

Ragged Blog.

A sudden change of weather. I know, you've noticed. It was stinking hot today. And i loved it. Just pure warmth, and breezy happiness. Just look at the sunny bliss next to these words, and my brother's crappy car. Unfortunately, today i couldn't spend a WHOLE lot of time outside, but a good amount. You see, i have just been pounded with assignments for school. A creative project involving creating a soundtrack for Romeo & Juliet(half-page explanations for each song and citations), an acting scene to be rehearsed in 4 days and performed on Friday, a 3-4 page science essay on our school's stormwater management..yeah, it's a lot. But i came home today and started working on stuff. Got my outline for my research paper done(due Wed.) and my list of soundtrack songs, and two song explanations done. After this, my dad unfortunately was too tired to take me on a nice drive like we used to. So i went for a long bike ride, a lone rider, observing the cute little neighborhoods near mine. I like seeing the little houses and nice weirdo people doing random stuff. It's calming, i suppose. Leaves me alone to my thoughts. I came back home and did more homework. Afterwards, i got up from my work desk area and found this on the couch...My lazy brother, tired from HIS large bike trek.
He wanted to bike. I wanted to work. But i got some stuff done, and i had some energy, so i decided to go. We went on a long bike ride downtown at night where he lost me and i nearly had a heart attack. He goes too far ahead, you see. Luckily i stayed in one spot long enough for me to realize we went over the bridge. We went under the bridge, pretty cool, i guess. Lights in the river. Random girl talking on the phone at the iron works foundry building. It was almost erie, the windy night, random people, quietly wandering. But, welcoming as it was warm. Then we went and got Pizza Hut where these buffoons took an hour to make our pizza because they didn't even start yet. Dopey bulls. Then the pizza on my lap made me sweat. And now i am here. Oh, would you like to see my work snack? I've gotten back into potato skins. Yep. Salty, cheesey, BACONey. Everything that is holy in foods.
I love Jim Gaffigan. He's a pale, chubby comedian. He has a funny cartoony voice and has innocent food jokes. A lot about bacon, which i appreciate. "I bet if you put bacon bits on a strip of bacon, you could travel back in time." - Jim Gaffigan. Listen to Babys by Bon Iver. There is a really beautiful part in the middle, after all the piano clanginess. Nick got a detention from his science teacher for calling middle schoolers fat. Not to their face. Just about them, as they rode by in a bus and such. I think it's funny. It's always nice to have a short walk with Jake, Nick's younger brother, when i have to walk him halfway home. Do you want to see a scandalous picture of me and my new hot chick? Good.

Should the U.S. Congress pass stricter Blog Control laws?

I am listening to "We Used To Wait" right now, and singing it quite passionately. I should be doing the remaining 5 notecards(facts) for my enormously painstaking research paper i must complete for Mrs. Waltz, but i suddenly felt the urge to blog. Blogging gets more interesting when you can add pictures. Like this one to the left. This is today, taken just now, of my neighbor's home, to show that it is still kindof cloudy and not so great outside. I had a nice day with Tim and Nick yesterday. Me and Tim took a long adventure, parkouring along the way. We went to the Dollar Store, Giant, returned a cart to K-Mart from behind Sears via Tim pushing me in it, we walked up that one hill next to Domino's and walked down the hilly road and ended up behind Burger King and eventually ended up back at his house. Yeah. Adventure, i know. And we parkoured, did i mention that? I am disappointingly staring at this pack of Starbursts i didn't finish. I wanted Favereds...i hate orange and lemon..This is my workstation, below this
sentence. An unfinished Coke that is now warm and disgusting, my headphones and iPod i am now using, and my research questions on the right that i must base my notecard-research on. And the unanswered phone. It's a very quiet day. I had about 36 dreams this morning. I kept taking 20 minute naps and waking up after i slept. All different dreams. I can only remember the latest one. It had to do with watching the end of a Harry Potter film that i apparently hadn't seen, and then trying to fight a winged man who was dumb but powerful. Yeah, i didn't get it either. He had a big plastic SunnyD poster on his leg, probably because i had SunnyD before bed. Anyways, that happened Saturday morning too. I had dreams with me and Colton on a skateboard falling off and landing in a grass yard that morning. My mom's still at my grandmom's after sleeping over because grandmom felt sick. Starr is such a lazy dog, i swear. I think the sun just came out. Well, time well spent, inside, doing homework. Okay, it's gone again. Now it's back. Now it's really back. For real now. My sister is watching some kind of Chuckie movie, so that's depressing. Want to know how Richard's doing? He's at his usual place, on the ground, neglected by my sick family. (see picture on the left below) It won't let me format this page any further to wrap around the pictures, so allow me to add more pictures of Starr.

These Days.

So, it isn't exactly Spring weather just yet. It's not AS cold, but it's still freezing, and today was cold and rainy and disgusting. And some guy punched a window at school and got blood all over the hallway floors. But my mom got me a Frappucino from Starbucks(bottle form) for lunch because it was Friday, so that's nice. I'm in a 61% good mood right now, because it's Friday, i just had a DnD breakfast sandwich that i got from Abodul, the cashier. When i asked for it, he joked and just said, "No." I awkwardly scrambled for words and said, "Sausage, then" at which he laughed and replied, "Just joking". I wonder where he is from. But only 61% good mood because i have some things to do. Well, for one, i have to get 12 more facts(notecards) for my research paper for my English class, i have to organize them by what argument they involve(i am arguing for gun control)(also not so good because they are just facts, not arguments), and place them into an outline of my paper, and do my paper by April 25th. So, a lot on my plate. Oh, and i have to make a movie soundtrack for Romeo & Juliet and give half-a-paper explanations for each choice. So, much schoolwork must be done. But other than that, i got hot water back in my house, no more showering at Grandma's. I am thinking about entering the Journalism realm of studies and writing for the school newspaper. Also thinking about futures in graphic design and some sort of writing. Also, if you want to know other particulars of my personal life, listen to These Days by St. Vincent. Not by Jackson Browne. Not by Nico. By St. Vincent.

In other news, Uncle Brian is back from his week in CA, and i haven't gotten to take any small trips to Wawa or anything of the sort with him yet. He coaches Lacrosse, he's busy. Richard is doing fine, recently had foot surgery on each soft little paw. He still is forgetting things, i'm still pondering at the validity of the Ph.D. degree his brain surgeon showed me. Oh, by the way, Easter is coming. Which means i will get some iTunes gift cards. Oh, and also Jesus was risen then. That's also important. If you know me, you know i like to be alone and think a lot. My thoughts span across such subjects like existentialism, religion, people in my life, different outcomes to differently handled situations, things i could do or improve in the future, people and how they communicate their feelings and what they really might be like on the inside, all kinds of things. Just saying. This blurb about my thoughts leads nowhere. Here is Starr feeling enthusiastic about my blog picture-taking. Also a picture of modern-day Richard.
